I am a PhD candidate studying the challenges map users experience when using maps to navigate and wayfind. The overall goal of my research is to define guidelines as to how maps should be designed for those who struggle with existing navigation and wayfinding tools. My PhD is also being undertaken at the University of Twente (The Netherlands).
