Research areas include ionospheric physics, space physics, space weather and space situational awareness. More specifically, the impacts of ionospheric equatorial plasma bubbles on trans-ionospheric radio signals (including GNSS) is a key research focus, along with the impacts of geomagnetiically induced currents on power grid infrastructure, and how space weather variations limit space situational awareness capabilities. More recently, some of my research has been focused on the use of optical telescopes to identify and track satellites and space debris in Earth orbit.
