Carl is a research data scientist and PhD candidate in the Healthy Liveable Cities group of the Centre for Urban Research at RMIT University. Carl completed a Master of Public Health with an epidemiology and biostatistics focus in 2015, and a Master of Biostatistics in 2018 at the University of Melbourne. He brings key skills in statistical and spatial analysis and data visualisation to the Healthy Liveable Cities team.  Methods Carl has developed for measurement of built environment exposures for local neighbourhoods using diverse data sources have been applied for cities and communities across Australia and internationally, and provide a source of evidence regarding the equitable delivery of urban policies on planning and development and how these can influence communities’ and individuals’ health and wellbeing.
