My research focuses on managing climate friendly cities, and how financial and technical information and practices concerning climate change are the cause of poor adaptation policies and less availability of spatial and technical knowledge in developing countries and how we can reduce these hindrances. The research also talks about how urbanisation, economic growth and energy use, changing climate at the global level and the impact on cities, urban specific climate impacts hot spots, Interface between urban geographical, environmental and socioeconomic development are related to the increasing impacts of the changing climate.
