Professor Matt Duckham is an expert in spatial computing, working specifically in distributed spatial computing, spatial analytics, and computing under uncertainty. Prof Duckham has extensive track record in delivering high quality research outcomes on time and within budget. He has been a Chief Investigator on nine successful ARC grants, worth in total $2.8MAUD, including being the recipient of a prestigious ARC Future Fellowship. These projects having included applications to transportation, the environment, and emergency response, in partnership with organisations like EMV, IBM, VicGov, AIMS, CSIRO. Prof Duckham is also Science Director for Program 2 (Rapid Spatial Analytics) of the CRCSI (Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information).
